Magis ([màh-gis] Latin adv., more, better) is our afterschool program at Cooper. Through MAGIS we seek to provide a safe, structured space where students can receive enrichment after classes end. Participants in MAGIS @ Cooper will have the opportunity to engage in a small variety of programs throughout the 2023-24 school year. 

MAGIS @ Cooper will serve students Monday through Thursday until 6:00 pm. The program is not offered on Fridays, school holidays, nor half-days. Students may enroll in the program for up to 4 days per week each session, or for the entire school year. We are also happy to have students drop-in from time to time, though we may not be able to accommodate a particular program as those are offered on an as-is basis.

Families pay a fee for their children to be enrolled, and the amount is based on the number of days they are enrolled. Families that qualify for Free or Reduced Meals pay a significantly reduced rate.

Families who qualify for Free and Reduced Meals (FARMs) pay the reduced rate. Please complete this FARMS application form (el formulario en español) and return it to Martita Fleming, Director of Operations ([email protected]).
