Eighth graders Sofia and Miracle Atkinson volunteered this summer collecting over 7,000 pairs of new underwear for patients at Children’s National Hospital. The sisters and their friends who worked on this project received Volunteer of the Year Awards from the hospital, and all were interviewed by ABC and CBS news.
