Washington Latin’s Girls on the Run teams at both campuses, coached by Ms. Eleby-El, Ms. Pettiford, and Ms. Cox, recently ran a 5K race. Cooper runners did a practice run on the Metro Branch Trail near the NOMA / Gallaudet University metro stop, which is about a mile and a half from Cooper, so perfect for their run! The 5K race Sunday was at Anacostia Park. The entire team finished with style and grace! Congratulations to our amazing coaches, parents, and student-athletes for all their hard work, dedication and grit!
