Junior Ryan Mellion is serving as the ever Real World History intern at the Moorland-Spingarn Research Center at Howard University (MSRC). She will work on a National History Day (NHD) project to enter into the citywide contest in early April. That project will emphasize the theme, Triumph&Tragedy, and it would make sense to focus on content related to the MSRC collections.
