This week the Jazz Band took an amazing trip to see the Annual French Quarter Festival in New Orleans. There will be more than 130 bands performing all over the French Quarter and our school’s band will be performing on the docks of the Mississippi! The group left on Wednesday and will return this Saturday. Directed by Arts Department Chair Ms. VerCammen, the Jazz band features 20 performers and introduces them to various musical styles and jazz inspirations. The group has previously performed in other cities and appeared on the radio and television.
