Dress for Success

Students in the middle school will have a dress down day next Friday IF they are following expectations for daily uniform, which includes not wearing hoods, not wearing headphones in class, wearing uniform shirts and monochromatic sweatshirts in the school colors, along with khaki pants.

Scientific Leaders

Freshmen in Mr. Torrence’s physics class are completing a research paper on Latinx scientists for Hispanic Heritage Month. Students took time in class and for homework to research the education, scientific methods, achievements, and legacies of each of their chosen scientists.

It’s All Greek to Me

Fifth graders in Mr. Baldwin’s theater classes are studying Greek Theater. Students learned about various elements of Greek theater, including the chorus, the orchestra, the scene, and the audience. Mr. Baldwin teaches about various types of theatrical experiences for fifth and sixth graders to provide them a foundation for their dramatic arts understanding. 

Touchdown

Coached by Coach K and Mr. Coleman, the boys varsity flag football team won their first game of the year 12-10 over Washington Leadership Academy. Senior Quentin Johnson was a standout player. 

Soccer Sisters

Girls Varsity Soccer won against Field School 9-0. The team is coached by Ms. McBride and Mr. Keller. The team faced off against WIS on Thursday. Meanwhile both Boys and Girls Middle School Soccer will play against Basis on Friday at home at 4 and 5pm.
