2nd Street Theater Department Presents “The Laramie Project”

Share

We are proud to share the inaugural winter play presented by the 2nd Street Theater Department.

We are proud to present the first annual Winter Play at 2nd Street: The Laramie Project. This  production is the story of Matthew Sheppard and his tragic killing. It is a play about combating hate and promoting tolerance and community.

We offer three performances of The Laramie Project:

  • Thursday, January 22 at 7:00 pm
  • Friday, January 23 at 7:00 pm
  • Saturday, January 24 at 7:00 pm

To buy a ticket to the play, please visit the link to the box office in the button below.

Due to the sensitive and complex nature of this show, the production is recommended for ages 13 and older. To help us navigate the message of the play, there will be a panel-led talkback following each performance, as well as reflection and decompression stations during each intermission.

We hope that you will join us in supporting our theater department at 2nd Street and the students and faculty who have dedicated so much of their time and effort to sharing this story with us.
