2nd Street Parent Faculty Social

Share

In the spirit of building community, the 2nd Street PFA hosts an adult-only, evening gathering for the parents/guardians and faculty each fall.

What is the Parent Faculty Social?

  • The Parent Faculty Association (PFA) plans and hosts this event for all parents/guardians and faculty at 2nd Street.
  • This no-kids allowed and shop-talk-free event for 2nd Street families and faculty to get to know each other; the conversation stretches beyond the classroom.
  • Guests bring items for the potluck dinner, as well as wine and beer.

When and where does the Social happen?

  • Date: Historically, the event is held early in the fall (often on the 3rd Saturday of September)
  • Time:  The event occurs from 6:00 pm to to 8:00 pm
  • Location:  The event is held in the library, Lion courtyard, and the Forum

How can I help?

  • Join the event planning committee to share your ideas to enhance the experience.
  • Volunteer to help set up, clean up, or bring a dish/beverage.
  • Come to meet your fellow parents and strengthen our community. But mostly, it’s fun!
