Cooper Community Service

Share

One hundred hours of community service is a DC-wide high school graduation requirement for all public schools – including Washington Latin. Read on to learn more about what is required and how to record service hours as an Upper School student at the 2nd Street Campus.

Whenever an Upper School student at the Cooper Campus completes community service hours, they must follow these steps to officially record those hours to count towards the DC-wide requirement.

  1. Fill out all blocks and obtain all signatures on the Washington Latin Community Service form (PDF)
  2. Complete the Cooper Community Service Google Form
    • The Google form is only accessible through the student’s latinpcs.org email address.
    • Through the Google form, upload your completed and signed Community Service form from Step 1. You can submit a scan or photo (from your phone is fine). Be sure you have that ready to go when submitting the Google form.

Our Registrar will compile the hours and add them to your record. If you have questions, please send them to the Cooper community service email (below).
