Schedule 2nd Street Teacher Conferences

It’s time to schedule your conferences with teachers at 2nd Street! Read on for the details of how to do this.

Washington Latin has parent-teacher conferences each Fall, offering parents the chance to meet with each of their children’s teachers for brief discussions of their progress. This is true at both campuses, though this post is strictly for 2nd Street conferences (Cooper families will not use PickaTime – more information to follow).

Parents/guardians may schedule a 10-minute conference with any of their children’s teachers on any of these days. You may elect to meet all teachers on one day or schedule the conferences across two or three days.

When & Where

This year, we have three days of conferences at 2nd Street: 

  • [Virtual] Monday, November 24 – 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
  • [Virtual] Tuesday, November 25 – 8:30 am – 3:30 pm 
  • [In-Person] Friday, December 5 – 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

All conferences held on Monday, November 24 and Tuesday, November 25 will be virtual, meaning that you will access your conference via each faculty member’s GoogleMeet link from any location. We will send you the directory of faculty links before next Monday. Students will not have school or asynchronous work on our virtual conference days.

On December 5th, conferences will be held in-person. Students will have a noon dismissal on December 5th, and conferences begin at 1:00 pm in the MPR or gym.

Translation Services

Washington Latin will provide a translator for any family who requires this to fully access the conferences. The External Affairs team has been in touch with families already to arrange both the translator and to schedule conferences. Families may also reach out to request a translator! Please email or call us so we can support your conversations with teachers!

Scheduling Conferences

To set up the conferences, parents/guardians will use the Pickatime online scheduling system.  If you have not used the system before, you will need to go through this registration process before you can schedule your conferences.  

Basic instructions are below. To see detailed step-by-step instructions, please see our Pickatime Guide, which shows screenshots of the process.

  1. Go to the 2nd Street 2025 Fall conference scheduling link. This link is for all grades at 2nd Street.
  2. Enter your email address on the login page to login or create an account.
    1. If you have an account, you will simply login with your password.
    2. If you do not yet have an account, you will add your name and pick a password. 
  3. Link your children to the account. This is for new Latin parents OR returning parents with additional children enrolled this year.
  4. You then move on to schedule your child(ren)’s conferences.
