2nd Street Upper School Information Night

Share

On Tuesday, 12/9, from 6:00 – 7:00pm in the MPR, current 2nd Street 8th graders and their parents/guardians are invited to learn more about what the Upper School has to offer!

This evening is designed to help you and your 8th grader consider the options in an important decision – choosing a high school.

As you know, our Middle School students are able to continue directly from 8th to 9th grade without going through the lottery or otherwise “applying,” and the majority of our students do stay through 12th grade. Nonetheless, many students and families are considering options for the next four years, and we want to share information about our Upper School to help you in your decision. The presentation will include:

  • Latin’s academic program
  • Graduation requirements and course offerings
  • Athletics, music/theater, clubs and other extracurricular activities
  • Student panel
  • Question & Answer session

Our goal for the Upper School info Night is more than just providing information about the Upper School. We want to have a chance to share what we and our Upper School are about, and thus are hosting this as an in-person event. We hope you can join us in person!
