Announcement: We are ready for 2nd Street families to sign up for their 15-minute conferences with their children’s 2025-26 advisor on Monday, August 25! Please read on for more information about how to do this and what to expect.
In order to schedule a 15-minute appointment, you reserve a spot using PickATime, our conference scheduling app. You will see the name of your child’s advisor when you log in to schedule a conference. You should also expect an email from the advisor in the coming days. If you choose the video option, we will send you the link separately.

To set up a conference with your child’s advisor, please follow these basic steps (and refer to the guides for detailed information and screenshots):
- Go to the Pickatime site for the upcoming conferences
- Login to your existing account OR create an account; if creating an account, you will need to enter your child’s birthdate (mm/dd/yyyy)
- You will see the name of your child’s advisor when you log in to schedule a conference, either at 2nd Street or via Google Meet. If you choose the video option, we will share the link directory separately.
- Let the communications team (communication@latinpcs.org) know as soon as possible if you need language interpretation – we will provide interpreters!

What to expect at the conference
This conference is a chance for you to launch a year of partnership with the advisor in supporting your child’s growth and success. Consider these 15 minutes to be an opportunity to share your child’s strengths and opportunities for growth in the year ahead. Your child may want to attend, and that is welcome but not required.
