This program began in the first week of October as a resource for students in any grade to get some extra help from peer tutors. Read on about the program and how students can seek this help.
We are happy to announce the launch of a program that matches interested and committed 9th grade tutors with younger students seeking some extra help. Every Thursday during Tutorial, 9th grade tutors will be available in either a classroom (for Math and Science) or in the Library (for English, History, Latin, and Modern Languages) as a resource for students of any grade or subject to get some extra help on their homework or studying. In addition, each location will have a teacher available to help coordinate the process for students and tutors.
Our faculty will be encouraging their students whom they think might benefit from tutoring to give this program a try. Parents/guardians can also encourage students directly, or ask their child’s advisor if they have any questions about whether this would be a useful option.
If you are interested in learning more about the program, please email Ms. Juliette Ghaffari or Mr. Isaiah Perkins.
