DC CAPE scores are now available digitally and they will appear in the Quarter 1 report card.
What is DC CAPE?
The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) recently released individual student scores for the 2024-25 DC Comprehensive Assessments of Progress in Education (DC CAPE). This is the annual assessment of student achievement administered each spring to all public school students in DC.
How do I access my child’s scores?
You can access your child’s CAPE scores through the DC CAPE Family Portal using the login information that was provided to you via email. If you have more than one child at Latin who took CAPE with us last year, you will receive a separate email with that access code. If your child was enrolled at another school last spring, please contact the previous school for their DC CAPE access code. The Parent Guide to Understanding 2025 DC CAPE Student Score Reports is a resource to help families prepare for and understand the individual student reports. The guide is available in Inglés, Español, Amharic, Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese (Mandarin) and French.
Nota Bene: these scores will now appear in their Quarter 1 report card, which is a change from past years.
If you have issues accessing your scores, please reach out to either Paul vom Eigen at 2nd Street or Jahrika Allen at Cooper Campus.
