Horario de 2nd Street DC CAPE

On Monday, April 20, the 2nd Street campus will begin conducting testing for DC CAPE, an annual, citywide assessment measuring proficiency in English/Language Arts, Math, and Science. Read more for the schedule from April 20 – 24.

Students in both the Middle and Upper School will be testing next week, with a range of schedules for the week.

  • Monday, April 20:  9th, 10th, and 12th graders will have a LATE ARRIVAL at 10:40am. 11th graders will have a normal arrival time and will have an EARLY DISMISSAL at 1:00pm. Middle schoolers will follow normal arrival and departure times with CAPE testing during the school day for 5th and 8th graders, and off-campus activities for 6th and 7th graders.
  • Tuesday, April 21: ALL upper schoolers will have a LATE ARRIVAL at 10:40am. Middle schoolers will follow normal arrival and departure times with CAPE testing during the school day for 5th and 8th graders, and off-campus activities for 6th and 7th graders.
  • Wednesday, April 22: 9th and 10th graders will have a normal arrival time, and 11th and 12th graders will have a LATE ARRIVAL at 10:40am. ALL upper schoolers will have an EARLY DISMISSAL at 2:10pm (as usual on Wednesdays). Middle school students in all grades will arrive at normal arrival time, but will have an EARLY DISMISSAL at 2:10pm (as usual on Wednesdays).
  • Thursday, April 23:  9th and 10th graders will have a normal arrival time with CAPE testing during school day. 11th and 12th graders will have a LATE ARRIVAL at 10:40am. ALL upper schoolers will have a normal dismissal time. Middle schoolers in all grades will follow normal arrival and departure times with CAPE testing during the school day.
  • Friday, April 24:  9th and 10th graders will have a normal arrival time with CAPE testing during school day. 11th and 12th graders will have a LATE ARRIVAL at 10:40am. ALL upper schoolers will have a normal dismissal time. Middle schoolers in all grades will follow normal arrival and departure times with CAPE testing during the school day.
