We are opening a food pantry at 2nd Street for any members of our Latin community facing food insecurity. Read more about how to contribute to the pantry.
How can I contribute to the pantry?
In anticipation of the winter break, we want to collect donations for our community food pantry, that we can redistribute to families who are in need of support. If you are interested in donating, here is how you can help:
- You or your child may drop-off nonperishable goods to any entrance (front, MPR, or gym) during student dropoff on every Tuesday from 7:30 – 8:30 am, or afterschool from 3:00 – 4:00 pm, beginning this Tuesday, December 16. There will be a faculty volunteer in a red hat ready to receive your donation(s). If you cannot bring in your donations, on Tuesdays, you may bring them to the front desk.
- Purchase items from the Amazon wishlist linked below. Select any of the items you wish to donate, and they will be delivered directly to the school.
3. Enfin, n'oubliez pas que nous sommes en pleine campagne pour la Fierté, alors n'hésitez pas à faire un don si vous le pouvez ! A reminder that 5% of funds raised through Latin Pride will be transferred to our Emergency Fund, which provide resources like the food pantry.
