Our Upper School students at 2nd Street will enjoy a week of Homecoming festivities, including themes for Spirit Week! The themes for Spirit Week include:
- Tuesday, October 14 – Twin/Squad day; match with your friends!
- Wednesday, October 15 – Celebrity day; dress as your fave celeb!
- Thursday, October 16 – Style Swap; change up your style for a day!
- Friday, October 17 – Class Colors!
- Freshmen: red
- Sophomores: green
- Juniors: blue
- Seniors: black
Homecoming Games
On Friday 10/17, after a fun week of celebrations, the week will close out with two homecoming games and the annual homecoming dance! Our Varsity Boys Soccer team will face off against DC International at 4:00 pm, followed by the Varsity Girls Volleyball team competing against KIPP DC Legacy at 5:00 pm.
Homecoming Dance – Friday, October 17, 7:00 – 10:00 pm
To cap off the night, we will have the 2nd Street Homecoming Dance! The dance will be in the MPR from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Tickets should be purchased in advance for $10, and at the door $12.
If you are interested in inviting a guest to attend, you should purchase their ticket in advance for $15 and fill out a guest permission form.
