Announcement: All Cooper families will receive an email from their child’s 2025-26 advisor with information on how to set up a meeting with them between August 20-26, 2025. Read on for general instructions!
Each year, we offer families a chance to meet their child’s advisor in a brief conference (15 minutes), either in person or virtually. These meetings kick off the relationship between the advisor and the student and family. Read more about our Advisory program.
While other parent-teacher conferences are focused on the teacher sharing information with families about the student’s work and progress, these conferences are about the family telling the advisor what they think is most important to know about their child. For example: she loves math! He is not a morning person! Etc.
This year, Cooper Advisor conferences will simply be appointments made through the advisor’s Google calendar over the course of several days. We hope this makes it easy for Cooper families to sign up for a conference. Each advisor will email their student’s families directly with information on when they are available.
Conferences will take place in person or virtually (via Google Meet) between August 20-26. Please note: on-campus meetings will NOT include building tours! Come to our Back to School Social on Monday, August 25, 4:00-6:00 pm!
