Religious Holidays
The School will be as understanding as possible with those families who choose to keep their child home for religious observance.  If a family plans to keep a child home from school for this reason, the School asks that the parent(s) or guardian(s) notify the school at least one week in advance.  Students are responsible for all work missed for such absences.

Weather and Emergency Closings
Additional school days may be added to the end of the fourth quarter if weather or other emergency closings (declared by the Head of School) lower the number of instructional days below that required by law.  Such changes will be announced as soon as they may become necessary.
